Humanist and Ethical Youth Organisation The Institute for Humanist Studies (IHS) is a think tank whose mission is to promote greater public awareness, understanding, and support for Humanism. The Institute specializes in pioneering new technology and methods for the advancement of Humanism; it publishes the Humanist Network News e-zine. Founded in 1999 as a 501(c)3 educational nonprofit institute, IHS operates business offices and meeting facilities at the Humanist Center in Albany, New York. The Secular Coalition for America is the new Washington-based lobbying organization for atheists, humanists, freethinkers, and other nontheistic Americans. Their mission is to increase the visibility and respectability of nontheistic viewpoints in the United States and to protect and strengthen the secular character of government as the best guarantee of freedom for all. All Ireland HUMANI - Humanist Association of Northern Ireland (formerly Ulster Humanist Association) Irish Skeptics Society Among the goals of the Irish Skeptics Society are the promotion of a scientific and rational point of view, the teaching and application of critical thinking skills, the active questioning of claims in a variety of areas, the provision of a forum for debate, discussion and rational argument on a range of relevant topics, and the encouragement of the active involvement of people from a wide range of backgrounds. Educate Together is the representative organisation of the Educate Together schools and associations throughout the Republic of Ireland. It owes its origins in the movement to establish new multi-denominational primary schools, which emerged in the late 1970s and early 1980s. By 1984, when Educate Together was established, there were three schools and the organisation acted as their co-ordinating body. Since then the movement has grown considerably.
